Seaman destroys Sanchez after his antics for Arsenal against Leicester

Arsenal legend David Seaman has slammed Alexis Sanchez for his antics during the 1-0 victory against Leicester on Wednesday night.

The 28-year-old was shown a yellow card in the closing stages of the game for simulation by referee Mike Jones.

Leicester defender Christian Fuchs launched the ball from a throw-in straight at Sanchez’s shoulder, but the attacker fell to the ground holding his face.

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Seaman expressed his anger towards Sanchez after his mid-week actions.

“Embarassing… we don’t need to see that at all,” Seaman said, as quoted by Alan Brazil on his personal Twitter account.

Arsenal managed to edge past the Foxes thanks to a Robert Huth own goal and it kept their hunt of the top-four places on.

The north London club are currently in danger of missing out on the Champions League places, but are now on a three-run winning streak across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Leicester are just six points clear of the drop zone and will be keen to secure their top-flight status for next season immediately.

Sanchez continues to be the standout player at the Emirates Stadium despite his antics and has been pivotal for them this season.

The Chile international has been highly influential in the final third during his 43 appearances, scoring 24 goals and supplying 18 assists.

In other Arsenal news, the club’s supporters were fuming that their defender was axed from the squad against Leicester.
