Sky Sports pundit predicts Leeds clash v Bristol City

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton believes that Paul Heckingbottom will be unable to earn a win in his first home game in charge of Leeds United on Sunday.
The former Whites midfielder has predicted that the Yorkshire giants will be held to a 2-2 draw against Bristol City this weekend while backing Pierre-Michel Lasogga to continue his fine form in front of goal by being the first to find the net.
Leeds are without a win since Boxing Day and are 11th in the table, six points behind sixth-placed City, who occupy the final play-off spot after a poor run of form of their own.
Lee Johnston’s men have won just one of their last 10 fixtures in all competitions and have been on the end of some poor results, including a 5-0 hammering against Aston Villa and letting slip of a lead to draw 3-3 with struggling Sunderland.
Although their form is stuttering, Prutton believes that Bristol City will prove to be a tricky test for Leeds, even though Thomas Christiansen led the club to an emphatic 3-0 win at Ashton Gate in October.
“Leeds’ win at Ashton Gate was arguably their best performance of the season. The problem for Thomas Christiansen, however, was that result came in between three defeats on either side, and that’s one of the reasons that Paul Heckingbottom is now in charge,” Prutton said on the Sky Sports website.
“The former Barnsley man didn’t get off to the best of starts at Sheffield United last week, and will hope to get up and running in his first home game. Bristol City remain one of the toughest sides in the division this season and I think this will be an entertaining draw.”
Leeds have lost just once against the Robins in the last eight years.
In every Championship meeting between the two clubs since 2010, the Whites have won all but two, drawing one and losing the other.
In the clash at Elland Road last season, Chris Wood and Pablo Hernandez were on the scoresheet as a Garry Monk-managed side won 2-1.
In other Leeds United news, it has been confirmed that this centre-forward has signed for a top-flight club after leaving Elland Road this month.
