Sky Sports pundit predicts Wolves v Newcastle, backs handful of goals to be scored

David Prutton has predicted Wolves to draw 2-2 with Newcastle at Molineux in their Championship clash on Saturday evening.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton has backed a handful of goals to be scored in the encounter and believes Paul Lambert’s side need to be “solid” against the league leaders.
Rafa Benitez’ men sit top of the table on 62 points from their 29 games, one point ahead of second-placed Brighton.
The Seagulls will host relegation-threatened Burton Albion earlier on in the day and could overtake the north-east club with a win.
Ahead of Newcastle’s encounter with Wolves, Prutton had this to say about the showdown and explained why Lambert’s side may need to be cautious.
“There’s an opinion that when you’re the home team you have to go after the game but Wolves will need to be solid against Newcastle,” Prutton told Sky Sports.
“As hit and miss as Paul Lambert’s side can be, I’m backing them to get a draw against the promotion pace-setters.”
Benitez’s side picked up a 1-0 win during their last encounter when they saw off the threat from promotion hopefuls Derby at St James’ Park.
By contrast, Wolves were being beaten 2-1 by Nigel Clough’s Burton away from home, but they did pick up three points during their last home match.
The Midlands club beat Aston Villa 1-o in early January and have since played a handful of games away from home.
One of those games includes a 2-1 win at Premier League giants Liverpool in the FA Cup on January 28.
