Sources: Leeds United will accept ‘big-money’ Jaka Bijol offer
Leeds United will only entertain big-money offers for centre-back Jaka Bijol this summer amid interest in his services from Liverpool.
Liverpool are believed to be keeping tabs on Bijol ahead of the summer transfer window as they aim to add to their centre-back options.
Leeds signed the 27-year-old for around £15million from Udinese last summer, and are looking for a big return on their investment if he is to leave anytime soon.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, the Whites do not want to lose Bijol after his standout performances in recent months.
He has been a key man for Daniel Farke since he reverted to playing a three centre-back formation, with Leeds looking likely to avoid relegation this season.

Bijol has made 17 appearances for Leeds this season, with 10 starts in their last 12 Premier League games following that formation change.
He is also an established international with over 60 caps for Slovenia, and despite outside interest, the Whites are set to demand a hefty fee to even entertain letting him leave this summer.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “(Bijol) is a monster at centre-back, loves the physical side of the game, very good in the aerial challenges as well.
“I think Leeds right now, if they stay up, which is looking positive for them, they’ll be keen to keep hold of their best players and build on what they have achieved this season.
“Bijol was a bit of a snip at £15million from Udinese. It would take big money to even consider Leeds letting him move on anytime soon.”
Leeds also have no plans to let Anton Stach leave this summer
The majority of Leeds players have stepped up in recent months to help them move six points clear of the relegation zone, with Stach a particular standout across the whole campaign so far.
He arrived at Elland Road from Hoffenheim last summer, and has registered four goals and three assists in 24 appearances so far this term, including a brilliant free-kick against Aston Villa last weekend.
Stach’s strong showings have seen Football Insider reveal that numerous top European clubs are keeping tabs on his progress at Leeds.
Much like Bijol, however, the Whites have no plans to let him leave after just one season at the club and view him as a key part of Farke’s plans.
