Sources: Port Vale in talks to sign Ipswich Town star Holy
Port Vale are in talks to sign Ipswich Town goalkeeper Thomas Holy, Football Insider understands.
The Czech 30-year-old has not been first choice at Ipswich this season due to Christian Walton establishing himself as the number one.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Port Vale boss Darrell Clarke has lined up a loan deal for Holy ahead of Monday’s cut-off.

Ipswich are happy to let him move on after signing Walton on a permanent basis from Brighton earlier this month.
Holy joined Ipswich from Gillingham in the summer of 2019.
He is under contract at Portman Road until the end of next season.
Football Insider reported last Thursday (20 January) Port Vale’s League Two rivals Bradford City had opened talks to sign him.
Holy has played over 150 games in League One across his time with Ipswich and Gillingham but has never dropped down to League Two.
He has only managed two league appearances this term and has made five appearances across all competitions.
Port Vale’s current first-choice keeper is Brazilian Lucas but he has been suspended in recent weeks and youngster Aidan Stone has stepped up.

Lucas, a summer signing from National League outfit Torquay United, has kept seven clean sheets in 21 League Two games this term.
The Valiants are currently 10th in the division, five points off the play-off places with at least one game in hand over the sides above them.
In other news, Ipswich Town have made a move to sign a Man United sensation.
