Sources: Tottenham in advanced talks to appoint Conte
Tottenham are in advanced talks to appoint Antonio Conte as their new manager, Football Insider can reveal.
It comes after Tottenham announced this morning that Nuno Espirito Santo and his staff have been relieved of their duties after just four months in charge.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider the club are “very confident” of naming Conte as the successor to Nuno.

It would represent a huge coup for Spurs, who pursued the serial-winning Italian in the summer before negotiations collapsed.
The source explained the Londoners believe they are closer to getting Conte than before and a deal can be done shortly.
The ex-Chelsea manager was known to be interested in replacing under-fire Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, Spurs is now the likely destination for Conte.
Fabio Paratici, who worked with the Italian manager during a highly successful spell at Juventus, believes he is close to getting his man.
Spurs are ready to offer a lucrative three-year contract to Conte.
Paulo Fonseca and Sergio Conceicao are also known to have been under consideration from Paratici.
Ryan Mason could be appointed interim manager while the club finalise a deal for a new manager.
Spurs currently sit eighth in the Premier League after a dismal 3-0 home defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was said to be furious with the performance that ultimately led to Nuno’s dismissal.
In other news, Tottenham have been tipped to sign an ‘absolute giant’ who’s the ‘next Harry Maguire’ after Source reveals all.
