Sources: Tottenham ‘upset’ by Harry Kane twist
Tottenham are “upset” by Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Harry Kane, sources have told Football Insider.
Spurs are believed to be unhappy with the way the German giants have gone after their star striker.
The London club are really reluctant to allow the 29-year-old to leave this summer and the saga is likely to drag on as Tottenham are unwilling to entertain Bayern’s opening bids, believing they are wide of the mark.
The Lilywhites have already rejected the Bundesliga club’s opening bid of around £60million plus add-on.
On 10 July, Football Insider revealed that Spurs are set to reject Thomas Tuchel’s second offer for the England international.
The latest bid is reportedly worth almost £70m plus add-ons but it seemingly won’t be enough to turn the hierarchy’s head.
Kane has entered the final year of his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and could leave for nothing next year if he is not sold this summer.
On Saturday (8 July), Football Insider revealed that Spurs have offered their star man a “jaw-dropping” new contract as they look to tie him down beyond his current expiry.

But Kane is believed to have no plans to put pen to paper before the summer window shuts and the transfer saga could drag on.
The new offer includes a wage rise that would not only improve his current £200,000-per-week salary but also cement him as one of the Premier League’s top earners.
