‘This is the end’ – Tottenham fans erupt at Thomas Frank after ‘nails in the coffin’ vs Fulham

Thomas Frank has completely lost the trust of the Tottenham supporters following a dreadful home performance against Fulham.

Micky van de Ven was the only bright spark, other than goalscorer Mohammed Kudus, during the 2-1 defeat on Saturday, 29 November, with their fate set after just six minutes.

It took just four minutes for the Cottagers to open the scoring, with Kenny Tete smashing home at the back post, before a calamitous mistake from Guglielmo Vicario allowed Harry Wilson to score a second.

Kudus grabbed one back on the hour mark, and despite the Lilywhites creating plenty of chances, Marco Silva‘s side stole all three points, triggering a chorus of boos from the home fans at full-time.

Thomas Frank on the verge of being sacked at Tottenham

It is now two wins from their last nine matches across all competitions, seeing Spurs fall to 10th in the Premier League standings, and fans are extremely displeased with the manager’s calmness.

Frank is under serious pressure at Tottenham already, and after the defeat to Fulham, the majority of supporters are adamant that he has just put the final “nails in the coffin” when it comes to his tenure.

While the lack of on-pitch investment from Daniel Levy continues to be a theme in a lot of the complaints, the majority of fans are also blaming Frank for the “shambolic display” at home.

Tottenham owners unlikely to help Frank in January

Mick Brown has told Football Insider that Frank’s January plans could be blocked by Tottenham, and that is likely to frustrate the supporters even more, given the current situation.

The manager remains without James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke, all due to retrospective injuries, feeling just a fraction of the issues that Ange Postecoglou faced.

Frank’s side are also suffering in Europe, with Spurs sitting 16th in the Champions League table after five matches, with very little hope of the club securing more silverware during the campaign.

Things desperately need to change, and quickly, but there are very few signs of that happening in North London.
