Thomas Frank’s next job after Tottenham increasingly clear as expert speaks out amid fresh links
Thomas Frank is almost certain to remain in the Premier League for his next job after he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in February.
That is according to journalist and transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who has suggested that he is “quite convinced” that the Dane’s next role will come in English football, where his reputation remains strong.
The 52-year-old was axed by the Spurs hierarchy with the team hovering five points above the relegation zone, and their situation has since worsened drastically under his interim successor Igor Tudor.
Tudor’s position at Tottenham is already being called into question after defeats in each of his opening three games at the helm have left the team just one point clear of the drop zone.

Frank’s reputation within the game has seemingly remained intact after his ill-fated spell at Tottenham, with many clubs seemingly still impressed by his previous work at Brentford.
Crystal Palace are one club who are seemingly keen on him, as Frank has emerged as one of the bookmakers’ favourites to replace Oliver Glasner at the end of the campaign.
However, a new link has since emerged regarding his next position, with talk of a potential reunion with former Spurs chief Fabio Paratici potentially being on the cards at Fiorentina.
| League | Games | W | D | L | Win % |
| Premier League | 178 | 61 | 46 | 71 | 34.27% |
| Championship | 126 | 61 | 31 | 34 | 48.41% |
The Italian giants are facing the daunting prospect of relegation from Serie A at the moment, as they are currently outside the relegation zone on goal difference alone.
Nevertheless, Italian expert Di Marzio has revealed that there is little chance of Frank opting to join La Viola in the coming weeks.
“Frank will stay in the Premier League, I am quite convinced of that,” he said during an interview with Danish outlet Tipsbladet.
“He did fantastically at Brentford, so there are many clubs interested in him. You can of course speculate whether Paratici will try to get him to Fiorentina, because he was part of getting him to Tottenham.

“But I simply do not believe that. Fiorentina is also in a very difficult situation, so it would be a very uncertain job to take.”
Crystal Palace have already made a move for Frank
Football Insider recently revealed that Crystal Palace have already moved for Frank, in order to try and sound him out as a replacement for Glasner.
Third parties have been in contact regarding a potential move to Selhurst Park, and he has already been earmarked as one of the club’s top targets to take the reins for next term.
Football Insider also revealed back in January that the Eagles are planning an approach for the ex-Brentford chief at the end of the season, and his availability has now made that task even easier for them.
The hierarchy at Selhurst have outlined him as a strong candidate for the role, based on his achievement at Brentford, which saw him operate with a very familiar budget and set-up to the one he would control at Palace.
