However the former West Brom attacker doesn’t seem to be playing as well on the wings as he has been up front, and that is why he may be sweating over being dropped against Reading later this month.
Leeds have a lot of options on the wings and alternating between them appears to have done wonders so far this term.
However Roofe is the kind of player who will be unstoppable for two or three games and then go missing for the next 10.
Christiansen can’t afford passengers in his attack and players like Hadi Sacko and Stuart Dallas could soon come in for Roofe’s first-team spot.
