Kent has been tipped to have a great future, but he has struggled a bit this term after a failed loan spell at Freiburg in the first half of the campaign.
The 21-year-old will probably fail to break into Jurgen Klopp’s first team once he returns in the summer meaning that he could be available for a loan deal again, or if Rangers can afford it, maybe a permanent deal.
The rapid winger was terrific for Barnsley in the Championship last season and if he could recapture that form at Ibrox, he would be a quality addition in the wide areas.
