Three Newcastle stars who could join 27-year-old in reportedly missing out of PL squad

Playmaker de Jong has proven he is over his injury nightmares by starring in PSV Eindhoven’s title challenge last season, that saw him score seven goals in 25 league and cup outings.
The 28-year-old has also featured in pre-season regularly for the Toon, but could be left out with Mohamed Diame and Ayoze Perez occupying the positions in the number 10 role.
New signing Jacob Murphy can also play in that role and that could see the former Ajax man miss out.
