It’s still odd that O’Halloran was not forced out of Ibrox in the January transfer window when he returned from his loan spell at St Johnstone, but he is still there, draining the club of money by not really doing a lot.
The 27-year-old was frozen out by Pedro Caixinha last season and Murty has not fancied him since he returned from McDiarmid Park.
He has made just one appearance for the Light Blues this season, which lasted one minute when he came off the bench against Hearts last week.
Gerrard must get rid of him as soon as possible.
