Midfielder tumbles down pecking order: Three Rangers players who must be sold before deadline

Rangers’ signings this winter must surely spell the end for the senior Croatian midfielder.
Docherty, Goss, Murphy and, arguably, even Cummings are all in competition with the former Spurs and NY Cosmos midfielder and Kranjcar is always going to come out the loser against any of those four players.
Kranjcar’s injury problems in Scotland probably haven’t helped him out much but with his contract up at the end of the season, it might just be best to get the 81-times capped international moved on now and give him a chance to play games elsewhere as his career clearly winds down.
It never really happened at Ibrox for the Croat although there have been a few glimpses of the old Kranjcar during his stint in Scotland.
