Bruno Alves was supposed to be the club’s marquee signing last summer, however what he has dished up at Ibrox has been nothing short of woeful with youngster Ross McCrorie putting him to shame with him performances.
Alves, 36, is hoping to get in the Portugal World Cup squad in the coming weeks, but he has started just 17 Scottish Premiership games this term and the bulk of those have been plagued with shoddy displays.
The former Porto defender just does not seem like he cares and Gerrard should get him gone straight away.
