£26,000-a-wk player a complete liability: Three Rangers players Gerrard must boot out of Ibrox
Carlos Pena
Have Rangers had a worse player than Carlos Pena?
Pena, 28, cost the Light Blues over £2million last summer and was their biggest-money signing. The Scottish Sun reports that he earns £26,000-a-week in his deal at Ibrox.
The Mexican is a complete liability. He is lazy, slow and uninterested, so there was no surprise he was shipped back to Central America on loan to Cruz Azul in January.
However things in his home nation have not gone well as the Scottish Sun has reported that he has had serious alcohol issues and will have his loan deal terminated on Sunday with Cruz Azul sending him back to Rangers.
Although it’s clear that Pena needs help, Gerrard should look to get rid of him in the summer as he is a complete drain on the club’s resources.
In other Rangers news, the Gers are in the hunt to sign this £20,000-a-week Liverpool player who is top of Gerrard’s shopping list for the summer.
