Candeias has arguably been the biggest success story of Pedro Caixinha’s summer signings and has been a huge part of the Gers’ attacking play this term.
The Portuguese winger has also been a big part of James Tavernier’s improved performances as he finally gives the right-back a regular partner down the flank after a couple of seasons of chopping and changing.
The former Benfica ace recently penned a new contract to extend his stay with the Gers after a fantastic debut season in Scotland and really looks to be benefiting from having some long-term security after spending much of the last few years out on loan.
Candeias has six goals and 11 assists this season for the Light Blues.
