Early season struggler among three Rangers players who have won sceptical fans over

James Tavernier

Rangers
Tavernier arguably embodies Rangers’ recent on-field problems more than any other player at the club.
When he’s good, he is the best full-back in Scotland – bar none – but when he’s bad it gets jumped on ridiculously quickly by fans.
The former Wigan man has probably been the Gers’ most consistent performer this season and at times takes a lot of unfair stick from fans – it was a little over a year ago that some fans inexplicably wanted him axed for Lee Hodson.
The 27-year-old has gone from strength to strength at Ibrox and after only costing the Gers £200,000 in 2015, he has proven to be a fantastic bit of business.
