Ross McCrorie doesn’t deserve to be dropped from Rangers starting XI.
However, with Bruno Alves close to returning, it seems unlikely Caixinha will keep the veteran Portuguese defender on the sidelines playing second fiddle to a 19-year-old who has made two starts for the club.
Academy graduate McCrorie has barely put a foot wrong since being thrust into the side after Alves picked up a calf injury and will now be sweating over whether he keeps his place alongside Fabio Cardoso.
McCrorie has been impressive since making his senior debut for the Gers a few weeks ago and will surely be a big player for the club for years to come.
