24-year-old a passenger: Three things learned about Celtic in draw v Kilmarnock

Tom Rogic is far too inconsistent to start games regularly

Celtic

There’s no doubting Tom Rogic can change games.

The Australian midfielder has dug Celtic out of a hole more than once but he just doesn’t do it enough to be considered an invaluable player.

For every good game Rogic has there are four or five where the 24-year-old is a complete passenger and it’s not good enough from someone who is now a senior player.

With some talented players like Callum McGregor and Stuart Armstrong vying for the same position, Rogic has nobody but himself to blame if he falls down the pecking order.

In other Celtic news, James McClean delivered an emphatic verdict on the Hoops’ win at Aberdeen.
