Murty favourite has chance of reprieve: Three things learned from Rangers win v Hearts

Danny Wilson could take advantage of injury and suspension

Wilson came in from the cold to face Hearts after injury and suspension ruled out Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso and he did well.

The defender knows how Murty likes his side to play and is comfortable playing alongside Ross McCrorie in central defence.

With Alves definitely missing the visit of Partick Thistle and Cardoso’s recovery time unclear, the former Liverpool defender has a chance to play his way into Murty’s – and possibly the next permanent manager’s – selection plans.
