Jason Holt seems to be the best choice Rangers have in central midfield just now.
The former Hearts midfielder has brought out the best in Graham Dorrans and now Ryan Jack in the middle of the pitch and should be given the chance to try forge a partnership with Jack.
Dorrans has had an average start to the season but seems to offer more in a more attacking role than he has operating just in-front of the back-four so it may be worth moving Dorrans into the sport previously occupied by Carlos Pena.
Holt has been really undervalued by a lot of fans – and even some of the coaching staff – but the midfielder definitely has a role to play in this Rangers team.
