Foyth not ready for first team action
One man who was introduced into the side to gain first team action was summer signing Juan Foyth.
He has been limited to cup appearances so far in his Tottenham career, but this outing will not have convinced Pochettino to be bringing him as a regular any time soon.
He looked shaky against the Premier League opposition and was at fault for the Hammers’ equaliser, which proved just how far away he is from being worthy of first team action in the league.
Still, he is a youngster and will have many more opportunities to live up to expectation.
He just has to make sure he takes it next time.
