Signing Cummings is a no brainer for Rangers
Cummings was far from the best player in blue against Hearts but the 22-year-old popped up yet again to score against Hearts – and making his loan move permanent should be a no brainer for the Gers.
The on-loan Nottingham Forest ace has an agreement in place to make his move permanent if he impresses at Ibrox and although he hasn’t been a regular in the starting XI, Cummings consistently comes into the side and works away to create chances.
His tendency to find himself in great positions to score isn’t something that is easily taught and regardless of what happens with Alfredo Morelos in the summer, keeping Cummings at Ibrox beyond June should be high on director of football Mark Allen’s list of things to do.
