Tottenham expected XI v Chelsea: Fans favourite suffers heartbreak as trio axed
Erik Lamela (Attacking midfield) – The mobile attacker has showed promising signs in recent performances and is becoming an increasingly influential player in the team. Will benefit from Harry Kane’s likely absence to retain his place.
Christian Eriksen (Attacking midfield) – The Dane has been in scintillating form for Spurs recently, and he is the man who keeps their attack ticking.
Dele Alli (Attacking midfield) – Has lost his mojo in recent months, as well as his international place. But the attacking midfielder is a virtually nailed-on starter for Tottenham, where he is expected to be given time to regain his form. Set to start ahead of Lucas Moura, who is the third of the three changes.
Son Heung-Min (Striker) – With Kane likely to miss out, the impish south Korean is set to spearhead the attack ahead of Fernando Llorente as he looks to add to his 16-goal haul this season.
In other Tottenham news, it can be revealed the club are working on deals to sign up FIVE players, with three agreements virtually nailed on.
