Tottenham expert: Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son will ‘smash’ Newcastle after ‘huge blow’

Tottenham will “smash” Newcastle United when the sides face each other on Sunday.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Tottenham welcome Newcastle to North London on Sunday (3 April) looking to continue their push for a top-four finish.

The Toon recently saw a nine-game unbeaten run ended by Chelsea with the club pulling well clear of the relegation zone as a result.

Over the same period, Harry Kane, 28, and Heung-Min Son, 29, found their best form this season, registering 15 Premier League goal involvements since the start of February.

Wenham claims the duo will prove to be the difference against Newcastle, especially with Kieran Trippier out injured.

“Had Newcastle not been on this great run of form, I would be worried,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“They know they are safe now so they aren’t coming here needing to win.

“Trippier also won’t play which is a huge blow for them, every Tottenham fan knows how good he is.

“There was also the defeat at Goodison in which they were pretty poor.

“So, even though this is a resurgent Newcastle I expect Tottenham to get the job done.

“The difference will be the quality of Harry Kane and Son. They are in such good form and we can smash Newcastle if they continue that.

“I think it will be too much for Newcastle despite their improvement.”

Kane has scored 22 goals in 41 games.

Son has notched 14 goals and seven assists.
