Tottenham expert: ‘Incredible, I didn’t think I’d be saying this’ about Ben Davies
Ben Davies is “incredible” and can be a key component of the Tottenham defence under Antonio Conte.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Davies, 29, started on the left side of a back three as Wales drew 1-1 with the USA on Monday (21 November).

The defender has been in sparkling form for Spurs this season, starting 11 of the club’s 14 Premier League games.
He has also scored two goals in his last three Premier League games but missed a glorious chance to register his second-ever Wales goal against the USA.
Wenham was delighted to see Davies’ impressive form continue in Qatar and claims it only bodes well for Spurs ahead of the season half of the season.
“I want to give credit to Ben Davies, he continued his excellent form for Wales against the USA the other night,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He was very unlucky with the chance he had because he has been in solid goalscoring form this season as well and I didn’t think I’d be saying that.
“He’s always quality, six out of ten Ben I call him. I was very pleased to see him and Gareth Bale doing so well.
“We know about the defence at Tottenham and how it needs improving but I don’t have a bad word to say about Davies.

“Hopefully he can continue this incredible form when he comes back to us and we can really kick on with him in the heart of the defence.
“He’s a solid, cool head to have in there. I’m very happy with him.”
