Tottenham expert issues ‘incredible’ claim about Dejan Kulusevski deal
Dejan Kulusevski is an “incredible” player who Tottenham have missed this season.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Kulusevski, 22, has not featured in Spurs’ last four games due to a thigh injury,
He has scored one Premier League goal and provided three assists this season.
On 1 October, Football Insider revealed Tottenham will sign Kulusevski permanently regardless of whether he triggers the necessary clauses in his contract.
Wenham knows how important the Swede is to Tottenham.
“We are going to need Kulusevski,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He is kind of a duel player. He can score goals with his right foot and he can be a menace down that side.
“But he’s a creator as well. We lack creative players and he can double and do both roles.
“I really do think we have missed him when he has been out with this injury. I’m not sure people appreciate how good he is and how good he can be.
“He’s only young and he has made such an incredible impact to this side. You notice when he isn’t there and that is saying a lot.”
Kulusevski has made 29 total appearances for Spurs after joining the club on loan in January.
Tottenham are next in action against Newcastle United on Sunday (23 October).
