Tottenham expert shares Kion Etete ‘worry’ after ‘promising’ transfer update
Tottenham must guarantee Kion Etete will be given game time before he leaves the club on loan this summer.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On 31 March Football Insider revealed Tottenham have opened preliminary talks with a Championship club over a loan deal for Etete ahead of next season.

A club source revealed the Londoners are delighted with the progress of the 20-year-old on the back of loans at Northampton in League Two and Cheltenham in League One this term.
On 11 May, The News reported Portsmouth want to sign the striker on loan this summer but face competition from Championship side Millwall.
Wenham would prefer Etete signed for a Championship club where he is guaranteed starts and fears this would not be the case at Millwall.
“Yeah, this is all promising. The thing here is, I would rather he went out and started all season than just came off the bench now and again,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“At Portsmouth, or a club like Portsmouth, he is likely to play every week. At Millwall, I’m not sure that is guaranteed.
“There might be a team lower down in the Championship who want to take Etete and I would prefer that.
“Millwall have had a great season, they were looking good for the play-offs at one point.
“So I’m not sure Kion is sure to start every week there and that is what he needs in the next stage of his development.
“If he went to somewhere like Millwall, that would be my worry.”

Etete scored six goals for Northampton during the first half of the season.
He has made 33 appearances across his two loan spells this term.
