‘Hat-trick incoming’ – Tottenham fans react as 23-year-old returns to starting XI v Bournemouth
By Danny Wright
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight that Harry Kane has completed a full return from his ankle injury.
The 23-year-old lines up to take on Bournemouth on Saturday in the place of Vincent Janssen.
Kane picked up an ankle ligament injury in the FA Cup victory over Millwall last month.
He missed three games but Spurs didn’t struggle in his absence as they romped to victory on each occasion.
The England international came off the bench in last week’s 4-0 thrashing of Watford but did not make much of an impact.
Mauricio Pochettino and the Spurs faithful will now be glad to know that he is ready for their vital Premier League run-in, as well as an FA Cup semi-final showdown with Chelsea in late April.
Tottenham fans were understandably delighted by the news and are now expecting him to find the net against Eddie Howe’s side.
Here’s a selection of tweets from Spurs fans about Kane’s return:

Kane has scored 24 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for Tottenham this season – the last time he struck in the league was during the 3-2 win against Everton in early March.
He also missed two England matches with injury and failed to add to his 17 international caps and five goals in fixtures with Germany and Lithuania.
