Tottenham make Richarlison transfer decision after Dominic Solanke latest
Richarlison’s Tottenham future hangs in the balance as Thomas Frank decides on his long-term frontman.
Over the summer, doubts over Richarlison’s Tottenham future were rife after intense interest from Saudi Arabia, sources told Football Insider.
Yet, the Brazilian defied the odds to stay in north London and has become the go-to striker in the injury-induced absence of Dominic Solanke.
With the January transfer window fast approaching and his current deal running until June 2027, Spurs have a major decision on their hands on what to do with the number nine moving forward.

Richarlison to stay in January as Solanke out of action for the foreseeable future
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Lilywhites look unlikely to part with the 28-year-old halfway through the season.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Richarlison’s “most likely” destination is Saudi Arabia, yet this would be a reality that could be further explored come the end of the campaign.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “I don’t see any move in January.
“I think he’s got a key role to play for Tottenham under Thomas Frank this season. We’ve seen that already.

“He has been the preferred starter in that number nine role. Obviously, Solanke’s been injured as well, so he’s not maybe been available as much as he could have been.
“But Richarlison seems to be enjoying his football under Thomas Frank, three goals and one assist in seven Premier League games.
“I don’t imagine Tottenham would encourage any move for Richarlison midway through the season.”
Samu Aghehowa move relies on one of Richarlison or Solanke departing
Sources told Football Insider on 11 October that Tottenham are monitoring Porto’s Samu Aghehowa.

The Spaniard has been previously pursued by Chelsea and Atletico Madrid and is continuing his upwards trajectory as one of the best forwards in Europe.
His possible move to north London would be dependent on whether the Lilywhites can ship one of Richarlison or Solanke on.
Aghehowa would only consider coming to Spurs if he were to be guaranteed the starting role through the middle, a luxury which is not certain at the moment.
