Tottenham news: Insider predicts naming rights deal as new NFL talks reported
Tottenham will give their chances of finding a stadium sponsor a significant boost by agreeing an extension to their NFL deal.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham have a £40million contract to host two NFL games per year and, as per the Daily Mail (12 February), are eyeing a bid to host the Super Bowl after 2026.

That report also states Spurs are looking to extend their deal.
Wenham insists this will boost the club’s chances of finding a sponsor for the stadium.
“We have had it confirmed Tottenham will host two more games this coming year,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“There was also something in the Daily Mail about Tottenham looking to extend that leasing agreement by another two years.
“That is to make up for the games we missed due to Covid and the stadium not being built on time.
“Talks are always ongoing about bringing more events to the stadium, not just the NFL.
“As I have said before, this can only be a positive as it grows the club and could be a boost to securing a naming rights deal for the stadium.
“The club must be looking for the right deal, if that makes sense, as we would have agreed a deal already.”

Wenham previously told this site how Tottenham had missed out on a fortune after failing to agree a naming rights deal with HSCB.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium remains without a sponsor.
In other news, a finance expert has claimed Tottenham are plotting a ‘big pay-off’ as a historic £500million naming-rights deal is on the cards.
