Tottenham ready ‘huge’ Callum Hudson-Odoi offer – sources

Tottenham could make an offer for Nottingham Forest star Callum Hudson-Odoi before 30th June, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed Forest may be forced to sell players before submitting their accounts at the end of the month to avoid committing any spending breaches.

Football Insider revealed on 29 May that Tottenham are monitoring Hudson-Odoi’s situation with the Reds after he’s put in some fine performances since making the move to the City Ground last summer.

O’Rourke suggested Forest could make a “huge” profit on the England international after signing him in a £5million deal from Chelsea.

Spurs chiefs have always planned to sign a younger attacking player this summer and the 23-year-old is one of several targets they are assessing in the wide forward area.

The winger is under contract with Forest until 2026.

Callum Hudson-Odoi could join Tottenham before 30 June

Tottenham have held a long-term interest in Hudson-Odoi after he was previously earmarked as one of the brightest young talents in England.

After failing to make the grade at Stamford Bridge and underwhelming on loan at Bayer Leverkusen in the 2022-23 season, the winger has revived his career at the City Ground.

Hudson-Odoi scored eight goals in 29 Premier League appearances across the latest campaign, with reports suggesting Forest are now looking for around £30million to sell him this summer.

O’Rourke admitted there is likely to be interest from other Premier League clubs and top sides across Europe for his services once the transfer window reopens.

Tottenham

Football Insider revealed earlier this month Forest will be forced to sell players before the end of June to avoid being hit with another points deduction.

The Nottingham club are believed to be at risk of breaching the financial rules again this year, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side needing to make around £30million in profit from player sales over the coming weeks.

In other news, Tottenham have been told to sack Rodrigo Bentancur after what he did.
