Tottenham star Joe Rodon backed to join Premier League team after Fabio Paratici mission – expert
Tottenham defender Joe Rodon should sign for a Premier League side instead of Roma.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Italian journalist Gianluca DiMarzio reported on 23 June that Paratici had flown to Italy in a bid to conclude multiple deals.

It was claimed the Spurs chief spoke to representatives from Sampdoria about them taking Bryan Gil on loan.
It was also reported that Paratici met with Rome chiefs over a possible loan move for Joe Rodon.
However, Wenham would prefer Rodon to stay in the Premier League.
“Paratici is working on the markets he knows well,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“The interesting one is Joe Rodon going on loan to Roma. It seems like Mourinho really liked Rodon.
“When he was sacked at Spurs, he went over to Lloris and told him to look after Rodon because he thought he could become one of the best defenders at the club.
“Mourinho obviously likes him. As I have said before, I would prefer him to move on loan to a Premier League side like Nottingham Forest.
“That puts him in the Premier League window. I’m not too interested in what those players would do in other leagues.
“Their value can go up when they play abroad but it doesn’t prove they can do it in the Premier League and that’s where you find the clubs willing to pay the biggest fees.”

A Tottenham source told Football Insider on 22 April that Spurs have told Rodon he is free to find a new club this summer.
