Tottenham to sell nine stars as ‘huge’ overhaul begins – sources
Tottenham are planning to sell nine senior stars this summer as part of a “huge” overhaul of the first-team squad.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed the expected exits of multiple first-team players will allow the manager to raise money which will be reinvested into improving the squad.
Emerson Royal, Richarlison, Joe Rodon, Sergio Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso, Bryan Gil, Djed Spence, Japhet Tanganga and Tanguy Ndombele were all listed as players Spurs will listen to offers for in the upcoming window.
Of the nine players mentioned, five are currently out on loan, with the club looking to capitalise on their spells away to attract interest.

The overhaul, which will be “huge”, has already begun with preliminary discussions believed to have taken over multiple potential moves.
Richarlison specifically could be the source of major income for Tottenham, with Football Insider sources revealing a £60million bid would be accepted.
Daniel Levy runs Spurs on a self-sustainable basic, so any incoming deals may only come as a result of widespread sales.
Postecoglou, meanwhile, has been outspoken in his demand for improvements to his squad, and a culling of the club’s fringe players should open that door.
The squad is in desperate need of a refresh given that many players do not suit Postecoglou’s style of play, having arrived under the likes of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
This restructuring of the squad would need heavy investment which they will look to generate through the sales.
With expensive deals such as a move to sign Ivan Toney now on the cards, as reported by Football Insider, raising funds should allow further movement without risk of financial issues.
