Tottenham want ‘much more cash’ after Sky’s Ndombele update – Robinson

Bayern Munich need to significantly improve their offer for Tanguy Ndombele to persuade Tottenham into selling the midfielder.

That is the view of former Spurs and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Bundesliga giants interest in the 24-year-old.

This site revealed on August 19th that Ndombele has told club chiefs he wants to leave before the transfer window shuts on Tuesday.

According to Sky Sports (21st August), Bayern are willing to offer Corentin Tolisso plus £17.2million for the wantaway midfielder.

Ndombele has four years remaining on his contract in north London.

When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if the offer was worth considering, Robinson said:

“Tolisso has had a lot of injury problems and I do not think you could rely on him being fit for a whole season.

“If that move was to happen I think Daniel would want a much more cash heavily structured deal.

“I also cannot see Tolisso fitting into the Spurs team really.

“Daniel will want as close to the £63million as possible if he is to allow Ndombele to leave. They will struggle to get it though because he has barely played.”
