Liverpool captain van Dijk shared a celebratory reel on Instagram, posting pictures of himself lifting the Premier League trophy with the caption: “Dream big, work hard!”
Plenty of his teammates responded, including defensive partner Ibrahima Konate, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch, all replying with heart emojis.
Elsewhere across the Premier League, players such as Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven and Newcastle’s Sven Botman also reacted by liking the post.
Van Dijk has had a standout season, making 49 appearances in all competitions and racked up more than 4,400 minutes. The campaign also marked a personal milestone, as Van Dijk surpassed 300 Premier League appearances, further cementing his legacy as one of the division’s greatest centre-backs.
