West Ham’s Arthur Masuaku has taken social media to dismiss reports that he is leaving the club to move to Italy.
The star posted a detailed message on Twitter to rule any transfer report as completely false and that he was only focused on the Hammers.
His tweet was as follows:
A recent report from Calcio Napoli revealed that Napoli were interested in signing the star in January with the report suggesting a transfer fee of between £8million and £9million.
The 24-year-old has made eight appearances for West Ham this season across all competitions, scoring one goal and grabbing two assists.
The left-back has been at the Hammers since July 2016 after he moved from Olympiacos.
Masuaku has a new manager to impress at West Ham after Slaven Bilic was dimissed and replaced by David Moyes.
The manager change was made due to West Ham making a poor start to the season, they find themselves 18th in the Premier League.
After 11 games played, the Hammers have only won nine points and have the joint second worse goal difference.
Moyes’ first game in charge of West Ham is against ninth placed Watford at Vicarage Road on November 19.
The Hammers failed to beat Watford on both occasions last season, losing 4-2 at home and only achieving a 1-1 draw when the sides met at Vicarage Road.
