West Ham fans all in agreement over permanent Axel Disasi deal as full stats emerge vs Brentford
Axel Disasi has already made a lasting impression at West Ham United after joining on loan from Chelsea during the winter window.
The 27-year-old has started six of the Hammers’ seven games since signing across the dotted line, only being demoted to the bench for the FA Cup win over Burton Albion.
He has certainly made a key impact, with the Hammers claiming wins over Burnley and Fulham in the Premier League, as well as drawing against Man United, but relegation is still very much on the cards.
West Ham’s summer transfer plans are likely to depend on which division Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are playing in next season, but supporters have already made up their minds on Chelsea loanee Disasi.

Disasi has been a regular in the team ever since his arrival, with many rather unimpressed by the trio of Konstantinos Mavropanos, Jean-Clair Todibo and, especially, Max Kilman.
It is not entirely clear how much the Blues would want for the centre-back’s signature, but weeks before the transfer window, West Ham fans want the club to sign him “at all costs”.
The East London club are already being told to “throw all the money” at the Chelsea loanee, but everything could change depending on their league status at the end of the season.
- @hammerheadronni: “Throw all money at Disasi, sign him up.”
- @5hakt1: “Hope we sign Disasi for good in the summer!”
- @ChrisConnor93: “We stay up, the very first thing we gotta do is sign Disasi! Just gotta hope Chelsea haven’t added a zero to the end of his price tag after this loan spell.”
Nuno Espirito Santo to take note of Disasi’s stats vs Brentford
The Hammers would eventually advance to the FA Cup quarter-finals after a penalty shootout against Brentford on Monday, 9 March, and unsurprisingly, Disasi played a major role.
Despite conceding twice to Igor Thiago, the Frenchman was a standout player at the London Stadium, with his stats proving exactly why the club need to make a permanent move for him.
In 120 minutes, the defender took 75 touches, had two shots, missed one big chance, made a tackle and a block, made 11 clearances, eight of which were headed, and won 100 per cent of his aerial duels [FotMob].
He was one of the Hammers’ best players, and after his first few appearances on loan, that is hardly a surprise. Mick Brown told Football Insider that West Ham are already weighing up a deal for Disasi.
