West Ham told to sign Tyler Adams and three other stars after latest reveal – Agbonlahor
Gabby Agbonlahor has backed Tyler Adams to join West Ham this summer as he urged the Irons to pursue “realistic targets” with their Declan Rice windfall.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed David Moyes’ side should add four new arrivals with the reported £105million fee.
According to 90min (17 July), Adams has been offered to West Ham following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship earlier this year.
This news comes after the British-record sale of captain Declan Rice to Arsenal, leaving the Irons in need of midfield reinforcements.
He made 24 Premier League starts in 26 total appearances for Leeds in the 2022-23 campaign before a serious injury ruled him out of the Whites’ crucial run-in.
The former RB Leipzig ace, who is under contract at Elland Road until June 2027, captained the United States at the World Cup in Qatar and has made 36 total appearances for his country.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I do like Adams.
“He’s feisty, he’s got good legs in the middle, and he can play as well.
“West Ham have got to address all of their needs with this fee. They should be looking to get four players out of the £105million.
“They can go out and get two midfielders, another winger and a centre-back.

“Look at realistic targets. Ward-Prowse, Adams – they would be good value for money.
“It will be interesting to see what they do, but Tyler Adams would be a good signing.”
