Wiedwald not cutting it: Three PL goalkeepers Leeds must swoop for in January

Rob Green (Huddersfield)

Christiansen would be practically admitting that he is wrong with an audacious move to bring Green back to Elland Road in January, not long after he left for Huddersfield after becoming No 2 choice to Wiedwald.

Green, 37, was never a bad goalkeeper for Leeds but it will perhaps annoy him about the way he was tossed aside by Christiansen when he led a major summer overhaul of the squad.

The ex-England international still has a lot to offer and he showed that last term when he helped Garry Monk’s side to finishing just outside the play-off places.

Green is yet to play a single game since joining Huddersfield and could potentially be tempted my the promise of more first-team football again.
