Wolves backed for Morgan Gibbs-White U-turn after Everton source’s reveal – pundit
Everton’s strong interest in Morgan Gibbs-White may cause Wolves to U-turn and keep him at Molineux, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Wolves may now realise Gibbs-White can be a valuable member of their squad.
An Everton source told Football Insider last week (12 July) that they are confident of agreeing a deal with the Midlands club for the 22-year-old as they ready a new bid.

It is understood Wolves’ financial situation and Gibbs-White’s keenness on a move are key factors.
This site first revealed earlier this month (4 July) that the Toffees were preparing an opening offer for the England Under-21 international.
They have since had a £22.5million bid knocked back for the attacking midfielder who has worked closely with Everton coach Ashley Cole at youth international level.
“I think it’s a lot [of money],” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“He’s struggled to keep a place in the team in the Premier League. He’s not been amazing in the Championship.
“Sometimes, when a club comes in for your player you start to think to yourself ‘Hang on, maybe we have got a player here, we’ll keep him if someone is offering that money’.”

Gibbs-White has just less than two years left to run on his contract at Molineux and is also attracting interest from Nottingham Forest, Southampton and Crystal Palace this summer.
He spent the 2021-22 campaign on loan at Sheffield United where he scored 12 goals and contributed 10 assists in 37 Champioship games.
In other news, Everton have made a move to sign another Wolves player and £10million will seal the deal.
