Yannick Bolasie posts Twitter message ahead of Everton clash against Bournemouth

Yannick Bolasie sent his support to the Everton team on Friday evening ahead of their Saturday clash against Bournemouth.

Winger Bolasie will not be a part of the Toffees’ squad for their match against the Cherries at Goodison Park due to a cruciate knee ligament injury suffered in December.

However, the 27-year-old shared on his personal Twitter account on Friday even that while he won’t physically be on the pitch, he will be in spirit.

“I know I won’t be on the pitch physically tomorrow. But I’m there 100% in spirit,” wrote Bolasie.

Bolasie featured in 16 matches for Ronald Koeman’s side prior to his injury, bringing  a return of one goal and four assists.

Fans had high hopes for the DR Congo international after he made the £25million move to Merseyside from south east London club Crystal Palace in the summer.

However, fans may now have to wait until next season to see the attacker in action once more.

Meanwhile, Everton are performing well in the league table and sit in seventh place with five points keeping them off sixth and four away from eighth.

They are unbeaten in their last three league matches with two victories and a draw and they will see a home encounter against 14th placed Bournemouth as a match they can use to continue their good run
