Newcastle have been linked with a host of Premier League stars as they bid to become regular European contenders and break the established Top Six.

As revealed by Football Insider (17 February), they and Aston Villa are leading the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe.

Well-placed sources have also told Football Insider (5 February) that the Magpies have compiled an extensive scouting dossier on Everton midfield star Amadou Onana ahead of a potential summer move.

Newcastle most recently advanced to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after beating Blackburn Rovers on penalties on Tuesday (27 February).

They are next set to face Wolves at St James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon (2 March).
