talkSport pundit claims Tottenham will plot swoop for Celtic man if Real Madrid come calling

talkSPORT host and Celtic fan Alan Brazil is worried that Brendan Rodgers will be lured to Tottenham as their manager if Mauricio Pochettino goes to Real Madrid.
Talking in the Scottish Sun, Brazil said that Rodgers has the credentials to come back and manage a top-six club, and that Tottenham could be his next club if they lose Pochettino to the Spanish giants.
“What about Tottenham? If Poch goes to Real Madrid — and I think he would go if Real come chasing — there could be an opportunity,” said Brazil.
“Arsenal will have a new manager sooner or later, Chelsea will as well with so many questions over Antonio Conte.
“Or is someone going to try to poach Brendan from Celtic? It would only be that calibre of job which could lure Brendan away.”
“But clubs in the top half of the English Premier League will look at what he’s done, especially in European football, and be impressed.”
Football Insider verdict:
Some might have thought that Celtic would end up being a one-way job. After managing Liverpool and the moving to Scotland, few would have predicted a job back at one of the power six in the Premier League, but he’s done such a good job with the Scottish Champions that it’s now a real possibility. Going back to Liverpool might be a step too far but Rodgers would surely jump at the chance to manage Tottenham – when the time was right, of course. He still has unfinished business at Celtic, and a big run in the Europa League would help satisfy that itch.
