Jota has missed 15 games throughout all competitions this season due to injuries, which has become a problem for the Reds.
Industry insider Mick Brown exclusively confirmed to Football Insider that Jota is on Arsenal’s shortlist for the summer transfer window as Mikel Arteta wants to enhance his front line.
Football Insider also confirmed that the Gunners have made Alexander Isak their number one target as Arteta is determined to land someone in this position.
Diogo Jota is a proven Premier League threat
The Portugal international has proven his qualities in the Premier League throughout his spells with Wolves and Liverpool.
The versatile forward has scored 62 goals and provided 19 assists across 177 appearances in the English top flight during his career.
Jota is under contract at Anfield until 2027 though, which would place Liverpool in a strong negotiating position if they were to sell him.
