Fenerbahce and Slovakia hardman Martin Skrtel has been installed as favourite to become Gerrard’s first signing at Ibrox, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
BetVictor clearly feel that the former Liverpool centre-back will be on his way back to the UK this summer to play north of the border.
The Scottish Sun has reported that the 33-year-old is set to become a player-coach at Ibrox and could be announced as part of Gerrard’s backroom staff on Friday.
