Clint Hill turned out to be the best of last season’s summer signings.
At 37 many expected him to be back-up to Danny Wilson and Rob Kiernan but the ex-QPR man made himself a regular starter.
He left when his one-year deal expired at the end of the season and fans would have been quite happy had it been extended for another year.
