Chelsea plan to agree Estevao deal as ‘commercial goldmine’ revealed

Chelsea are planning to try and tie winger Estevao down to a new deal after this summer’s World Cup.

The Brazilian starlet is seen as one of the Blues’ most talented prospects at the moment, as he continues to impress during his debut season in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old signed a long-term contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2033 when he joined the club, but plans have already emerged for a new deal to better reflect his value to the club.

Chelsea’s financial situation has allowed them to agree lengthy bumper contracts for several of their key stars, and Estevao is now set to become the latest man to see his performances rewarded.

Estevao huge for Chelsea off the pitch amid Eden Hazard verdict

Estevao is currently sidelined through injury, but the impact that he has made since arriving at Stamford Bridge has been clear to see so far this term.

He has seven goals and two assists from 32 appearances in 2025-26, with his most memorable moment so far coming through his stoppage-time winner against Liverpool back in October.

Chelsea are now keen to hand him a bumper new deal, as the club hierarchy are viewing the teenage sensation as a “commercial goldmine,” according to Spanish outlet AS.

It is understood that there is a belief at Cobham that Estevao could spearhead a “revolution” that hasn’t been seen at the club since the days of Eden Hazard’s prime.

The starlet is expected to be a key part of Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for this summer’s World Cup, and if he continues to impress at the tournament, then he is likely to have a new contract on the table for him when he returns.

Blues set for ‘very busy’ summer amid Estevao news

Former Aston Villa chief executive Keith Wyness recently told Football Insider that Chelsea are set for a “very busy” summer, as they are relying on player movement to bring money into their coffers.

The Blues recorded a staggering loss of £342million across the 2024-25 season, and have exhausted their revenue options somewhat after previously selling their women’s team and hotels.

Wyness believes that the only way they will be able to raise further funds is through player dealings, and as a result, he expects there to be several incomings and outgoings at Stamford Bridge ahead of next term.

Despite the imminent upheaval that looks set to be coming at Chelsea, it is clear that Estevao is seen as a key piece of their long-term puzzle, and they will not even consider the idea of losing him.
