Two 19-year-olds start, big-money man benched: Leeds expected XI v Sunderland
Attackers
Ezgjan Alioski (Right-wing) – Kemar Roofe is back in training and we expect to see him on the bench and threatening Alioski’s place in the side. For now though, Alioski will keep his place.
Samu Saiz (Centre attacking-midfield) – Will he stay or will he go in the summer? That’s the question for Leeds fans but this season he’s been the undoubted star in a pretty miserable team.
Pablo Hernandez (Left-wing) – Turns in consistent performances but Leeds fans will be desperate for him to sign a new contract and commit himself for next season.
Caleb Ekuban (Centre-forward) – Heckingbottom’s comments today have pretty much written off any chance of Pierre-Michel Lasogga playing for Leeds next season. He said that Ekuban was being picked ahead of the player – reported to be on £50k-a-week, although Leeds aren’t paying that much – on merit, which must be a thumb in the eye to Lasogga who is the club’s top scorer in the league this season. Fans want Lasogga to start on Saturday but they’re set to be disappointed.
